New yarn! We recently received yarns from Imperial Stock Ranch, home of the Columbia sheep, situated in the Oregon high desert. These yarns both feel wonderful and retain some of the natural lanolin and character of the fiber because they are processed and dyed without harsh chemicals or high heat. The beautiful colors of these yarns were chosen to reflect the high-desert landscape.
Erin is a worsted 3-ply yarn. It's very versatile as well as light and incredibly soft.
Columbia is a 2-ply heavy worsted and is one of the few mulespun yarns still being produced, which gives it a character similar to homespun. This yarn is wonderfully cozy and dense as well as incredibly soft.
We also got in half a dozen really fun and interesting patterns from Imperial Yarn.
